Büchel 2021
Im Juli 2021 sechs Friedensaktivist*innen aus den USA, Niederlanden und Deutschland die digging for life-Aktion am Luftwaffenstützpunkt Büchel in der Eifel durchgeführt. Ziel war es, so auf die Startbahn des Fliegerhorsts Büchel zu gelangen, um den Flugbetrieb zu stoppen. Begleitet wurden sie von mehreren Unterstützer*innen mit Bannern, die ihre Aktion mit Liedern und kurzen Ansprachen verstärkten.
Volkel 2021
In October 2021 the international activists organized a digging-for-life action at Volkel Air Base in the Netherlands at the head of the runway for the CO2 emissions of the armed forces to be counted in the climate targets and to protest the plans for the deployment of a generation of new nuclear B61-12 thermonuclear bombs.
